Barikwa Sustainable Development

Barikiwa translates to “Blessed” in Swahili. The journey of Mukilteo Dental Center with Barikwa, a Medical, Maternity, and Dental Clinic in Tanzania, commenced in 2014. Dr. Nhi Pham established a connection with Medical Relief International and extended support to Dr. Ashley Lucas in her aspiration to contribute to an organization dedicated to providing dental outreach as well as maternity and delivery care to the most underserved populations. Together, we have achieved numerous milestones in extending humanitarian aid overseas, collaborating with several prominent organizations. Through fundraising endeavors, we were able to secure over $30,000 in donations for ultrasound technology, with additional support from the founders of Dopl Technology.
